  • The Best Rate Promise is only applicable to bookings made through Hotel The World’s official website or reservation team.
  • The lower rate must be for the same room type, dates, and terms and conditions as the reservation made with Hotel The World.
  • The Best Rate Promise does not apply to rates found through opaque or auction sites, membership or corporate discounts, package rates, or rates that require a coupon or special code and special offer.
  • The Best Rate Promise shall not be applicable to any reservation made within 48 hours of arrival.
  • The Best Rate Promise is not applicable to rates for stays that have already taken place.
  • The Best Rate Promise is not applicable to group bookings (10 or more rooms).
  • The Best Rate Promise does not apply to bookings made via offline channels, such as email or phone.
  • The Best Rate Promise is not applicable to bookings made through travel agents or online travel agencies (OTAs).
  • The Best Rate Promise is not applicable to non-refundable rates.
  • The Best Rate Promise does not apply to rates that are part of any kind of loyalty program or membership.
  • The Best Rate Promise is not applicable during an outage, a technical issue or any circumstance beyond Hotel’s reasonable control.
  • The Best Rate Promise is not applicable in modified and cancelled booking.
  • We have the discretion to deny any claim where the difference between the rates is less than two percent (2%).
  • The World reserves the right to modify or cancel this offer at any time.
  • The Best Rate Promise applies only to room rates and does not include taxes, fees, or other charges.
  • A claim can only be submitted via the online Best Rate Promise Claim Form on The World’s website.
  • The lower rate must be publicly available and verifiable at the time of claim.
  • A claim must be duly submitted through the claim form supported with evidence of the lower rate, not later than 24 hours of making the initial reservation through The World Hotel’s website and at least 48 hours before the scheduled arrival.
  • We shall endeavour to have the claim verification completed within three business days of receiving the claim.
  • If the claim is found to be valid, then the Hotel shall match the same rate and offer further savings/discounts on the matched rate
  • The Best Rate Promise is subject to availability.
  • Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement,including any question regarding its existence, validity or termination, shall be referred to and finally resolved by the hotel management.

Are taxes, service charges and other additional costs included in the Best Rate Promise?

The Best Rate Promise does not include taxes, gratuities, or any additional charges or fees that may apply to your stay.

I paid for my booking in rupees through The World website. However, after a little research, I found an Online Travel Agency (OTA) with slightly better rates for bookings made in dollars?

If the rate discrepancy is solely due to currency exchange calculations, we reserve the right to deny the claim.

Can I make a claim for a lower rate after I’ve already booked my stay?

No, claims must be submitted within 24 hours of making the reservation.

How long does it take to process my claim?

We’ll review your claim and notify you of the outcome within 1-3 days.

When will I receive my discount?

If your claim is verified, we’ll adjust your rate and apply the additional discount at the time of check-out.

If my reservation is pre-paid and I make a valid Best Rate Promise claim against it, when will I receive a credit for the Best Rate Promise rate difference?

In the case of a fully prepaid rate at The World Website, The World will refund the difference to your credit card, if applicable, within 30 business days of submitting your claim.

Who reserves the right to determine the validity of a claim?

We reserve the right in our sole discretion to determine the validity of any claim and whether it meets the Terms & Conditions.

The hotel, reserves the right to revise, amend, supplement, suspend or discontinue the Best Rate Promise at any time in our sole discretion and without prior notice.

Please ensure that you have all the necessary evidence to support your claim and that you submit your claim within 24 hours of making your reservation. We’ll review your claim and notify you of the outcome within 24-72 hours.
